The Can-Do Attitude

The Can-Do Attitude is a post-punk folk-rock band from Charlottesville, VA. Their debut, self-titled album was released in November 2017, capturing the band's frenetic insights into space age love and working day blues.

Recorded at Jesse Fiske's Single Barrel Studio, "The Can-Do Attitude" is a collection of 9 songs, mostly written by Lee May as he traversed from Roanoke, to Harrisonburg, and eventually Charlottesville, VA. Jamming with coworkers Colin Steers and Brian Wilson, The Can-Do Attitude was reforged from a former two-piece featuring guitar/vocals and a washboard. Adding bassist Ryan Gilchrist, the current four-piece plays high energy, forward looking rock rooted in classics from Bowie and Beck to The Monks and Violent Femmes.

Lee May - Guitar, Vocals

Ryan Gilchrist - Bass

Colin Steers - Guitar

Brian Wilson - Drums, Guitar
